Could you guys on the MTA team possible compile the Linux server for use on an older libstdc++? If so, could you possibly make it work on Redhat Linux 7.3? I would really appreciate this.

I'm on cable, and my ISP says something like you're unlimited until they think you are hogging too much. I've downloaded versions of Linux and everything, and they haven't contacted me yet. It's $39.99 a month for unlimited 2MB / 128K up.

What do you mean by your_cname?

It's using Redhat 7.3. I'm trying to talk the main admin into upgrading to Redhat 9 or Fedora.

I get a gzip/tar error.

Well, I got it onto the server but... root@alpha [/mtaserver]# ./MTAServer0.3 ./MTAServer0.3: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Isn't there some sort of manual that tells you how to do it?

Fixed it. It was my XBox controller (I have one that plugs into a USB port).

Every time I load Vice City, the camera keeps on spinning and spinning, and I can't get it to stop. What's wrong?
