this gtawo will surely turn out to be very cool. i like the idea already. but the thing what was confusing me is that redspike just said the first release is near, but you need gta:vc for it.. instead of gta3, because of the better engines, texturing, effects and stuff

Yep, we've done it again. We're working on the fresh project MTA:VC.. we've found the addresses and we're going to use the same technique as MTA v0.3b, without most of the annoying bugs and stuff. But since trx is on vacation (returns next week), we need a experienced main.scm coder who has experience programming the main.scm in Vice City. Please reply only here if you want to help us.. and you've got enough skills. We'll contact you as soon as possible.

what i actually need is ingame chat stuff using a proxy dll for d3d8.dll, or something like that.

Now we need a programmer, or several programmers, who are experienced hacking DirectX games.. like GTA3. For example, by making dll proxies for DirectX or drawing text (or anything) else on DirectX games. If you can help us out with this one, reply please and we'll contact you as soon as possible.

The new netcode idea which we're going to use in the next version of MTA will solve all network problems. It will solve the slow connection, the lag. Everything will be real-synced. The current netcode idea is uses server-relaying and constant data uploading, which will be completely replaced by the new netcode. Just to let you know, hope you like it

if you don't know anything about memory coding. i just advice you to NOT start working on this.. it saves you alot of pain, headaches and time. -
We need some c++ programmer(s) fimiliar with c++ and MFC (so a Windows c++ programmer). The c++ programmer(s) will be working with me and Kent on future releases of MTA. Anyone who's interested.. post a message here please I'll contact you as soon as possible.

We're cooperating with Gta World Online Development. Especially for GTAW Online we're making a special version of MTA, adjusted to GTAW Online. The GTA World Online Development Team: REDSPIKE, UNDERWORLD, UNDERDOG, skull white, fatcat, maverick_uk, tonton, yakuzza, billix, manburnerner. GTA World Online is a total conversion for GTA3+VC, that means that both Vice City and Liberty City are combined into GTA3, and also with the ability to play online (powered by MTA). Latest update: Model chooser and ingame menu patch, started adding the islands, new interface for traveling when you get to the airport, designing a new site which is 90% done now. Further information will be given soon, when the site is finished.

Redspike is making a permanent dedicated server place for us, we will start running the dedicated server when MTA v0.3b is out. We'll help him with his mod by making a MTA version for Gta World Online. He's from the Gta World Online mod and he's still searching for some mission coders, you can contact him at -REDACTED- if you want to help him.
