hmmm, only thing i can think of is to start over and try from scratch. reinstall the server, start it up once and close it down then edit the meta, while its down. You know I always thought that in the back of my mind but then again you control all the resources so there isn't alot that could happen. Right?

You only have to change to true and it will work. Under Default.

You could move them, can't you, and it would be visible. Just they'll flick back as the server syncs them. Unpractically you may be able to do something but it would look fruity. Like onClientRender setElementPosition but you couldn't get the proper cords from the real client cause that would take too long, and defeat the purpose, and estimating would be very difficult I suppose. Or you could be clever. It is possible to fix the sync, however. Or change it so theres less problems.

Which part did you get to where it doesn't work? Maybe ace can put it in a zip so you can just put it in the right folder and do /start run.

They say the GTA engine pauses when you minimize or esc to the main menu causing most noticable invulnerable or eratic sync. But no mention of what specifically happeneds when you alt tab, although it may be said the above happeneds when you lose focus. In window mode, the built in one to mta, you can't lose focus unless you minimize but in some of the older dll's you can alt tab and overlay new windows above gta. You could check how that affects sync and if as badly as minimizing like in sa mp or the older mta's. Because you can't lose focus in the built in one ( without minimizing ) I would quess mta would of tested and known exactly. Or played it safe.

It affects everybody differently, I think. Is your single player ok? Its a bit weird that you can switch from new race to old race and that that stops it from happening. If you revert back, does it start happening again, on race?

I heard a or one of the ati cards does that, with mta. And that a third party mod can fix it. If you think its that, I could try finding it for you. But i'm not sure if I can post the mod publically but none the less I can still show you.

Does mods do that? I don't know. You could try reinstalling gta or first try deleting the user_data file in my documents / GTA San Andreas or User Files
