As I was looking at the new pictures on the main page of April 28th, specifically at the one on the left, I saw something that caught my interest: Does this mean that the game time is synchronized all across the server? If it will be than that's ub3r sweet .

thats the new point that i'm trying to make. i talked to MrBill on IRC and he said the problem would occur on 0.3 and 0.3r2. just try to connect to a good, reliable server with a low ping and it seems to work.

Actually i just talked to MrBump on IRC, and he said that the problem would still occur in 0.3. The reason for it happening is because of the server. I proved this by choosing a server that was hosted by an anonymous gamer, and recieved the crc error. I then tried an official server, and that seemed to solve the problem. MrBump said that whatever it is, it probably has to with the ping or how the server is set up, can't remember exactly what he said but it had to do with the server! Anways good night, and a merry first night of the new year.

thanks a bunch for that valid point! your advice worked for me. so if anybody is having this crc check error, and you werent having any troubles with 0.3 (not 0.3r2) such as the radar bug, then dont bother patching to 0.3r2 because it will only give you a crc check error. thanks for your contributions GuN.

same here. everything works fine for about 5-10 minutes and then i get this error. so ill give my comp stats using mrbumps method (http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?p=60752): 1. windows xp pro 2. yes, dlink di-704 3. c:\program files\rockstar games\vice city\ 4. c:\program files\mta\ 5. no 6. yes, also uninstalled 0.3 (not meaning 0.3r2) 7. 1.0 8. every time, after 5-10 mins 9. yes, and yes

are you using a no-cd/backup-cd crack? because -i think- that error is usually caused by the crack
