  3. Yes it dose it annoys me even the Free roam map in f1 dose it.
  4. This is a bit annoying
  5. Not really I was just wondering about it. I've rote a few boot loaders and stuff so making an Operating System is all to familiar to me.
  6. That's because Microsoft went overboard with the graphics and functions. It requires one of the best video cards just to run GTA on enterprise.
  7. Having MTA server as an operating system would be nice. Although it would take allot of work most of which would be writing C Library's for the it then rewriting the MTA source code.
  8. Not to go off topic but the first thing I did was install a game mode and it was really simple. Just simply run refreshall in the consle to load new resources.

    AntiCheat

I tried to disable the anti cheat on my server but it seems it doesn't work. Doing some further testing it appears the anticheat is client based so when using certain cheats on older clients it won't kick me. But using the same cheats on a newer client with the anticheats disabled I'm still kicked. Is there any possible way for me to not be kicked in my own server for testing the anticheat.
  10. It seems big to me but never mind.
  11. Setting the blip size to 0 it's still big as seen above.
  12. The blips made by this script are larger than what I want. I see no possible cause, a lil help would be appreciated. function onplayerjoingame() local myBlip = createBlipAttachedTo ( source, 1, 1, math.random(1,255), math.random(1,255), math.random(1,255) ) end addEventHandler("onPlayerJoin", getRootElement(), onplayerjoingame)
  13. I havn't released any game modes i've just coded some for fun.
  14. I want to make a ped follow a player of the same team. I've never really used peds so I don't really know to much about peds.
  15. Not paying Attention I set a few wrong values. Simple and nooby mistake but I was distracted when writing this.
  16. Er-rm sorry I recopied it from pastebin since I asked about it in the irc and pastebin did some funky stuff to my code was the car name in the xml. So that wouldn't help. Edit:I would just type the name but it appears my Browsers dictionary is glitching and turns it into so It wasn't pastebin Edit:Or it may be the forms way from preventing us from saying a word in the cars name. Edit: Never mind I found the problem but thanks.

  19. I'm wanting to make a timer that countdowns to either the end of the round or till the next round but is displayed to everyone. How would I do so?
  20. The link on the wiki is invalid I might make my own module.
  21. I'm wanting to know how to let people on my IRC server send messages to my mta server. I do believe there is a article somewhere bout it a link would help.
  22. I'm making an rpg game mode but the blips and pickups for this specific code won't show it seems. My code: function main() medicblip = createBlip ( 2036, -1408, 17, 22, 0, 0, 0, 255 ) medicpickup = createPickup (2036, -1408, 17, 3, 1277, 100) end addEventHandler ( "onResourceStart", getResourceRootElement(getThisResource()), displayLoadedRes ) addEventHandler ("onPickupUse", getRootElement(), function (playerWhoUses) if (source == medicpickup) then giveWeapon (playerWhoUses, 14, 1, true) setElementData (playerWhoUses, "job", "medic") else end end) addEventHandler ("onPlayerDamage", getRootElement(), function(attacker, weapon, bodypart, loss) if (weapon == 15) and getElementData ( attacker, "job" == "medic" )then setElementHealth ( targetPlayer, getElementHealth(targetPlayer) + 10 ) givePlayerMoney ( attacker, 450 ) cancelEvent() else end end
