Yeah, sure. He tried to code it right? If this guy didn't know what "debugscript" was then he's pretty new to scripting in MTA. So he asked the forums for help, and then gets stupid reactions like "meep meep, show your full debugscript 3". Gosh, these forums where 4 years ago pretty different, the people were so much friendlier to each other. I don't want to discuss here, I only want to make it clear, if you want to discuss with me then you can send me a PM. Kindly regards, Danny.

Instead of not helping him and insulting him you can test it on your local server(everyone with "omg show debugscript 3"). eAd, I'd suggest you start over with learning Lua, instead of screaming "plzz help repier my full code". Okay, the first error is that you can't use numbers as variables, so change the button variables to a name. Second, you had a error on line 67 using "]" (must be a typo) 3th, line 85 to 91 doesn't make any sense. You must put on the x,y,z a position also, i don't like variables which are called "marker" because it's suggested as a element type, and I changed the button showing (which variable didn't excist) to the window. Plus you should move the button click inside one function. So here's the client side: GUIEditor = { gridlist = {}, memo = {} } addEventHandler("onClientResourceStart", resourceRoot, function() wnd = guiCreateWindow(191, 82, 474, 427, "[PS] Cars System By Mostafa", false) guiWindowSetSizable(wnd, false) guiSetAlpha(wnd, 0.92) guiSetProperty(wnd, "CaptionColour", "FF788D6B") but1 = guiCreateButton(9, 19, 129, 79, "NGR-500", false, wnd) guiSetFont(but1, "default-small") guiSetProperty(but1, "NormalTextColour", "FF1A0AF4") but2 = guiCreateButton(9, 130, 129, 73, "Banshee", false, wnd) guiSetFont(but2, "default-small") guiSetProperty(but2, "NormalTextColour", "FF24F508") but3 = guiCreateButton(9, 258, 129, 70, "BMX", false, wnd) guiSetFont(but3, "default-small") guiSetProperty(but3, "NormalTextColour", "FFF92603") but5 = guiCreateButton(155, 20, 116, 78, "Alpha", false, wnd) guiSetFont(but5, "default-small") guiSetProperty(but5, "NormalTextColour", "FFC536C3") but6 = guiCreateButton(154, 139, 136, 64, "GTR-500", false, wnd) guiSetFont(but6, "default-small") guiSetProperty(but6, "NormalTextColour", "FF1909F1") but7 = guiCreateButton(164, 266, 136, 62, "Bobcat", false, wnd) guiSetFont(but7, "default-small") guiSetProperty(but7, "NormalTextColour", "FF05DBF4") GUIEditor.memo[1] = guiCreateMemo(12, 334, 298, 83, "New Cars In GridList \n\n,Mostafa [PS]\n\nUpdate : Add Yamaha R1", false, wnd) GUIEditor.gridlist[1] = guiCreateGridList(319, 24, 145, 393, false, wnd) guiGridListAddColumn(GUIEditor.gridlist[1], "New Cars", 0.9) for i = 1, 4 do guiGridListAddRow(GUIEditor.gridlist[1]) end guiGridListSetItemText(GUIEditor.gridlist[1], 0, 1, "BMW|SOON", false, false) guiGridListSetItemText(GUIEditor.gridlist[1], 1, 1, "Ferari|SOON", false, false) guiGridListSetItemText(GUIEditor.gridlist[1], 2, 1, "PS Car| SOON", false, false) guiGridListSetItemText(GUIEditor.gridlist[1], 3, 1, "Yamaha R1 ", false, false) end ) addEventHandler ( 'onClientGUIClick', resourceRoot, function( ) if ( source == but1) then triggerServerEvent ( 'car1', localPlayer ) elseif ( source == but2) then triggerServerEvent ( 'car2', localPlayer ) elseif ( source == but3) then triggerServerEvent ( 'car3', localPlayer ) elseif ( source == but4) then triggerServerEvent ( 'car4', localPlayer ) elseif ( source == but5) then triggerServerEvent ( 'car5', localPlayer ) elseif ( source == but6) then triggerServerEvent ( 'car6', localPlayer ) elseif ( source == but7) then triggerServerEvent ( 'car7', localPlayer ) end end ) local markerD = createMarker(0,0,0,"cylinder", 4 ) addEventHandler('onClientMarkerHit',markerD,function (plr) if plr == localPlayer then guiSetVisible(wnd,true) showCursor ( true ) end end ) On the server side you had wrong event handlers attachment. So here's the fix: vehicle = {} addEvent( 'car1', true ) addEventHandler( 'car1', root,function() local x, y, z = getElementPosition ( source ) if isElement(vehicle[source]) then destroyElement(vehicle[source]) vehicle[source] = nil end vehicle[source] = createVehicle ( 431, x, y, z + 10 ) outputChatBox ( "Car Spwan!", source) end ) addEvent( 'car2', true ) addEventHandler( 'car2', root,function() local x, y, z = getElementPosition ( source ) if isElement(vehicle[source]) then destroyElement(vehicle[source]) vehicle[source] = nil end vehicle[source] = createVehicle ( 432, x, y, z + 10 ) outputChatBox ( "Car Spwan!", source) end ) addEvent( 'car3', true ) addEventHandler( 'car3', root,function() local x, y, z = getElementPosition ( source ) if isElement(vehicle[source]) then destroyElement(vehicle[source]) vehicle[source] = nil end vehicle[source] = createVehicle ( 434, x, y, z + 10 ) outputChatBox ( "Car Spwan!", source) end ) addEvent( 'car4', true ) addEventHandler( 'car4', root,function() local x, y, z = getElementPosition ( source ) if isElement(vehicle[source]) then destroyElement(vehicle[source]) vehicle[source] = nil end vehicle[source] = createVehicle ( 421, x, y, z + 10 ) outputChatBox ( "Car Spwan!", source) end ) addEvent( 'car5', true ) addEventHandler( 'car5', root,function() local x, y, z = getElementPosition ( source ) if isElement(vehicle[source]) then destroyElement(vehicle[source]) vehicle[source] = nil end vehicle[source] = createVehicle ( 132, x, y, z + 10 ) outputChatBox ( "Car Spwan!", source) end ) addEvent( 'car6', true ) addEventHandler( 'car6', root,function() local x, y, z = getElementPosition ( source ) if isElement(vehicle[source]) then destroyElement(vehicle[source]) vehicle[source] = nil end vehicle[source] = createVehicle ( 232, x, y, z + 10 ) outputChatBox ( "Car Spwan!", source) end ) addEvent( 'car7', true ) addEventHandler( 'car7', root,function() local x, y, z = getElementPosition ( source ) if isElement(vehicle[source]) then destroyElement(vehicle[source]) vehicle[source] = nil end vehicle[source] = createVehicle ( 442, x, y, z + 10 ) outputChatBox ( "Car Spwan!", source) end ) And for you guys here, if someone can't speak proper english then don't judge him that he doesn't have a brain...

Yeah, show us your trigger to this: "onWheelInstall"
-
So my comment is homosexual and is having a affair with jeseph stallin's right testicle? Is this comment a person or something??
-
Parameters: string mouseButton, string buttonState, player playerWhoClicked, float clickPosX, float clickPosY, float clickPosZ You can get the player as you see with the third parameter, plus you can show the cursor on the server side. I don't know exactly how the source code is, so I don't know how this is exactly triggered.
-
Wouldn't that cause alot of abuse, or some people don't even know how to change their server config properly.
-
First, think what you want in your roleplay, so make a TO-DO list. Second, think about the design. And last, start scripting with whatever you want, if you want to script in a chronological way then you should start of with the login panel, spawn, the base code, stats(with a costum resource where you can call functions, so that you can trigger it faster), the real need-to-have things, the low piority things, etc.. Edit: and like Vince said, be unique, don't steal ideas or designs from other servers.. Regards, Danny
-
I didn't fully understand you. Do you want to make that only one part of the image is showing, or just like a puzzle that one part is removed, btw, if you already have a code then show it.
-
You should test that by yourself? I'm guessing that when you are using onPlayerWasted is triggered if the player dies, so that means that he is actually dead, just test it with a friend or someone else,just stop the resource play or anything else what is making you spawn, run your script, kill him and check if it's working. If you don't have anyone to test it, then just say it that you wasn't be able to test it.

You can always use dom readers with php to get the data from the website and then send it to the client's pc. I'm not so expierenced with php. Here's the code what I have used: <?php require "sdk/mta_sdk.php"; $input = mta::getInput(); $text = $input[0]; $search = $input[1]; function getdata($sex, $songField) { $searchURL = "http://musicmp3.ru/search.html?text=" . rawurlencode($songField) . "&all=songs"; //$searchURL = "http://musicmp3.ru/search.html?text=angerfist&all=songs"; $html = file_get_contents($searchURL); $patternform = '/(<tbody.*<\/tbody>)/sm'; preg_match_all($patternform ,$html,$result); $DOM = new DOMDocument; $DOM->loadHTML($result[0][0]); $items = $DOM->getElementsByTagName('tr'); $xpath = new DOMXPath($DOM); $items = $xpath->query('//tr[@class]/td[@class]'); $counterDerp = 0; foreach ($items as $node) { $kopnaam = $node->getAttribute('class'); if ($kopnaam == "song__artist song__artist--search" ) { $artistNaamReturn = $node->nodeValue; $artistNaam = $artistNaamReturn; } if ($kopnaam == "song__name song__name--search" ) { $songNaam = $node->nodeValue; } if ($kopnaam == "song__play_button" ) { $streamKopUrl = $node->getElementsByTagName('a'); $counterDerp ++; foreach ($streamKopUrl as $streamKop){ $streamUrl = $streamKop->getAttribute('rel'); } } if ((isset($songNaam)) and (is_string($songNaam)) and (isset($artistNaam)) and (is_string($artistNaam))) { $returnsongArtist[$counterDerp] = $artistNaam; $returnPath[$counterDerp] = $streamUrl; $returnsongNaam[$counterDerp] = $songNaam; } } if ((isset($returnsongNaam[1]))){ mta::doReturn($returnPath,$returnsongNaam, $returnsongArtist, $sex, $songField); } else { mta::doReturn("false","false", "false",$sex, $songField); } } getdata($text, $search); ?> Now the problem was the streamUrl, I scripted this in 1 hour and then I didn't continued it because I had so many other things to do, but the problem was that if you are searching for let's say Ellie goudling, the wrong was song playing(You should look at their link generating) I used it like this: Server: function result(value1, value2, value3, playerR, searched) if value1 ~= "ERROR" then triggerLatentClientEvent (playerR, "song:sendTable", 40000,false, playerR, value1, value2, value3 ) end end addEvent ( "search:database", true ) addEventHandler ( "search:database", root, function (player, song) callRemote ("http://82.72.66.169:1234/MTA/index2.php", result, player, song) end) Client: pathTable = {} list = {} listartist = {} function add(string, artiststring) table.insert(list, string) table.insert(listartist, artiststring) end function addTable (value1, value2, value3) if value1 == "false" or value1 == nil then outputChatBox ( "No songs found derp!" ) else pathTable = {} list = {} listartist = {} for k, v in pairs(value2) do pathTable [ v ] = value1[tostring(k)] add(v, value3[tostring(k)]) end end loading = false loadrot = 0 end addEvent ( "song:sendTable", true ) addEventHandler ( "song:sendTable", root, addTable )

Thanks arezu, that worked smooth. I had problems with this in the past, now it should not give any network lag, plus I was using a shitty buffer method for reading the files
-
Hey guys, So I was working on my costum downloader, so I used ofcourse triggerLatentClientEvent, but now I runned into a problem, which value should I use for the bandwidth? (default 50000 bytes = 48.828125 kilobytes ) is for car mods pretty slow in my opinion, so which value shall I use instead? Regards, Danny

Dammit, close call almsot forgot this.
-
Hell no, my parents aren't slapping me.My dad said that I can use it to f*ck some hot girls (you now that i'm just joking right now hu'h?)
-
It's possible, I tested it in MTA:Eir (with the developers) ofcourse is this another client, but I'm sure that it will work in MTA:blue too. Since gta san andreas has more objects than vice city and gta III, it should be possible, and the textures and models are in the same file extension (dff and txd).

As, you can see, I joined at Nov 11th, '10, 19:10, it's now 12:44, 02/02/5603, so I'm playing MTA pretty long. I'm now on my 50gb DDR26 computer with a tetracontagon core of 30ghz, which only costs 400 euros Oh and also, my internetspeed is 1TB/s.
-
02/02/5603, I'm from the future.
