Here's a better idea: Try making your own Multiplayer GTA SA. If you can make a GTA MP, faster than the MTA Team, and with hardly any bugs and so many features and so much sync. Then go ahead and do it. But until then, don't comment on the speed.

Also, the reason why the MTA Team and/or QA Team will never give release dates, or tell you how many % they've done, or how many % is left. Or what they have left to fix/add. Is so there is no arguments. If they said something like "It will be released September 22nd 2007", then it doesn't come out, there will be some arguments and alot of dissapointed people. If they said "we're 97% done" or "we have 2% left to do", that'll cause arguments and dissapointments, because it might take too long for it to be 97% done, or have only 2% left. If they said "We only have 5 bugs to fix, and 3 features to finish adding." That won't do much good. They'll be fixing the 5 bugs, then when the 3 features are finished being added, more bugs will come along that they'll spot. That's why when someone asks "When is it released?" or "What have you got left to do?", they don't say when it'll be released. Or what they've got left to do.

I guess between September 19th to December 31st. Actually, I think sometime this month, or maybe next. But if it doesn't come out this month or next, then sometime this year. And I don't care what people think of my guess, so those that hate the MTA Team, don't bother replying to my post saying I'm wrong, stupid or anything. I support the MTA Team. And whenever someone says something against my posts supporting the MTA Team, or having faith in the MTA Team. I just ignore it.

Maybe only the Main server Admins can upload the names of the cheaters on your site?

If you ban by subnet, then you will ban alot of people. Especially a subnet like Chello. Where in a Dutch city, is the only ISP. So everyone in that city can't play on the servers just because of one Dutcher. I'm not Dutch, but the main admin on my server is. And his ISP is Chello, and is the only ISP he can use. No other ISP in his city. If you banned someone's subnet, and they was on something like Virgin Media or BT. Then you banned ALOT of people. Virgin Media isn't as easy to change IP as other ISP's are. Because you have to do something to the router, modem or phone your ISP to get it changed. And after a few phone calls, they should get wise to it. I think what norby suggested is great. I play on a cheat allowed server, because there is a no kill/ram rule. Just freeroam, so might as well allow cheat. And I only really play on that server. But I'd never cheat on any other servers if I went on them. The point is, if someone cheats on one server, doesn't mean they'll cheat on all servers. And if you ban their subnet for a week or something. Then the cheaters will notice the admins won, and just give up. Then it won't make everyone suffer forever. And I don't think it's fair to not allow a cheater to ever play on any other servers. If they stop, then they did good. Because it means they want on your server, so you shouldn't ban them for wanting on your server. Unless they continue to cheat.

Just because they've said there will be an MP doesn't actually mean that. And maybe they mean like GTA: SA, where you can have a 2 player on the console, but maybe more than 2. But they said that about GTA:III, GTA: VC and GTA: SA. But they never, and they've probably confirmed it many times that there will be an MP on those GTA games. But did they make an MP for any of them? Not for GTA:III. not for GTA:VC. They made a 2 player for the consoles, but that's it. Maybe they will be an MP, maybe not. They said there will be a few times, but there might still be no MP. And even if there is, MTA Team will make an MP anyway, and much better.

It's not just 24 hours. My IP is static. But a person with a dynamic IP can have it changed by just resetting the modem. I know because I had it for about 2 weeks while getting my current ISP.

People only like SA-MP better than MTA, because it's only Race. But I hate SAMP, I only play it when a new version comes out to test it. But it's never going to beat MTA. I play MTA, not SAMP. And those that say SAMP are better, are people that will forget they said that when DM comes out. Trust me, they'll forget they ever said anything like that. DM will be better than SAMP. From what I know, SAMP has more stuff synced, and scroll for the chat now. But the sync is still rubbish. And again, I stopped playing it after the first 10 minutes of a new version. I always get something about 'Report Crash'. That's why I never play SAMP. And no, I don't want to know how to fix that if it's possible. I'll just stick to MTA. If you read the comments on the news "MTA Christmas Movie", you'll see Little Whitey from SAMP saying something. He didn't look pleased then, because he, and everyone else knows SAMP will just shut down after DM is out. Everyone will go from SAMP to MTA. Even the Admins will.

If you get XP installed aswell as Vista, you can play MTA:Race. I don't actually know how, but I know it's possible, and I know that's how to get MTA working with Vista.

I'm still an MTA supporter. Always have been since I started in March 2006. And I'll always support the team for as long as it's around. Because they don't need to do anything with the DM mod, but they are. And for free. So I'll always support the team.

There are stuff you can do with handling.cfg and vehicles.ide that does the same as cheats. And editing dmg multiplier is easy. But it takes skill to make a good drifter. And it takes skill to make a fast dragster that doesn't go off the road, or without it going out of control.
-
Off-topic: This should suit the Help forum better. On-topic: Modding handling isn't really cheating. Cheating takes no skill at all. But to be good at handling, you need skill. You need skill to handle a car after you've made it faster. You need skill to drift after you've been making a drifter. You need skill to remember what you did so you can do similar to other cars.

There is a way to stop recieving PM's from people. There's a command everybody can use (admins and non-admins). It's "/ignore" An example: /ignore munch When someone is spamming, mute them. And tell everybody in the server to type: "/ignore [and that guy's nickname]".

When I posted that, i tried to post it without looking as though I was one of those moaners. I just suggested that if there are bugs you know are in there, but can't find, release an Open-Beta. I suggested that so it'd stop people from moaning about it not being out.

Hey, MTA Team, I have an idea. To stop all the ungreatful and/or impatient users from moaning. Or to reward the still greatful and patient users. You say: We want to release, but major bugs could be found in the last minute. Well, why not put it in Open-Beta? That way you'll find the major bugs faster, and it'll stop all of the moaning. And at the same time, rewards the greatful and patient members of the community(like me).
