[offtopic]Vista is faster.[/offtopic] Has anyone figured out why MTA doesn't work with Vista yet?
-
How does the login system work? Every time under Vista Ultimate 32-bit, once I enter my login information in the MTA Login Center, an error comes up and I have to close it down.
-
That would be nice because I REALLY want to play. I now have Ultimate.
-
Wow I didn't realize these things take that much time. It seems by all the pictures and stuff its been going good.
-
When installing MTA:SA, Race for SA 1.1.1, when it comes to the login screen (MTA Center Login.exe), I get this: If I were to start MTA, then the little splash screen would pop up then go away.
-
Oh I see, but hasn't it been worked on for more than 10 months?
-
Ok i'm really confused...Everytime I see something on the internet about MTA:SA, it always has people walking around and stuff. I thought MTA was racing around San Andreas, and I thought that the walking around killing people was SA-MP?!?1?1
-
so in other words it doesnt work?
-
holy crap dude I KNOW THAT ALREADY!!! [removed by moderator] i don't hack, i just want the camera hack and thats the only place i found it from but i can't register for some reason to download it...
-
PLZ DONT KICK/BAN ME! would it be okay if i use the camera hack for mta/sa-mp? i don't hack, i just hate the damn motion blur!!!!!!!!!!!
-
later i'll try gta sa & mta on vista rc1 x64 later in the day.
-
okay, i reinstalled everything and made 2 directories, one (c:\program files\rockstar games\GTA San Andreas) with mods and one (c:\program files\rockstar games\GTA San Andreas (No Mods)). i was able to get SA-MP to work PERFECTLY, but MTA still has problems. servers with very few people i'm able to get on easily, but servers that are almost full, i am not. idk if its my internet, or if MTA is looking in the default c:\program files\rockstar games\GTA San Andreas directory, even though i installed it in the No-Mods one.
-
thats probably what i'll do.
-
really...damn i got 20+ cars on there and i'd like to keep them. i could go a fresh install of gta sa, copy that to a folder and use that one for sa-mp/mta, then do another one with mods, but that would waste some hard drive space and time. idk...
-
if i ever try to go to a server, it will always say its verifying the server. i've port-forwarded and everything, plus i did a new xp install the other day.
-
plz see the above post
-
UPDATE: a few days ago i did a whole cleaning and maintnence thing...adware/defrag/virus/spyware/registry/cleanup and stuff and everything is working perfectly now.
-
choppy! slowness! moves 1 second, stops, then goes again.
-
OMFG!!!! i used to play this before on the same pc, same internet, SAME EVERYTHING, but for some reason its choppy.
-
i haven't played mta or sa-mp for a couple of weeks so i tried last night and everything was SO CHOPPY!!!!!! single player san andreas plays fine, i did nothing to change it either. i don't know why but its VERY choppy.
-
oh...well at least not for me they don't..thank u comcast!
-
huh... u should just be able to make a server and leave it on...
-
do poeple have to pay to have a 24/7 server? if u do then thats retarded.
-
well i downgraded using the patch, and everything went fine, only took a couple of seconds. before i did so i made a backup of my whole GTA: san andreas folder just incase something went wrong. but i wouldn't worry. also the saved games still worked after downgrading (at least for me).
-
ya so if u have v2 then downgrade to v1. theres not really a difference.
