C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas\server\mods\race\ this is default once there open mtaserver (conf file) make sure u open conf file and not log file if your view files in details mode u can see which is conf and which is log (text doc)

You can do all this in your server config Do you mean time limit in a race? In that case its in your map editor you change it. If you mean time left after someone has won, well i dont think you can.

Disabled firewall. Connected directly to internet, nothing in way, no router Reformatted computer, only have MTA San Andreas installed (along with gta san ofcourse) Still no one can join. Accept me on my own comp..... What settings do you use if you have a server? anyone? Also do you have to connect on internal IP or external? my internal is 127.0.0.1 and external is 62.254.64.12 My external changes every now and again but my internal stays the same

are you sure you installed the server on your comp and not on a network? when i tried to open my server on my dads laptop (over the network) i got that error. Not sure this'll help but i think it might be the prob...

My server works fine, but i was wondering how i can script it so it will do other commands. Such as if you type in !help or /help the server tells you stuff. Or if you type /ping or !ping you get your ping. the only thing i can edit is the admins commands. I added freeze and unfreeze to that. Dont no if doing the other thing is relitively the same. boy i bet i look like a n00b with all these questions

woot worked it out. i am behind a router so i am getting another one so i can by pass it the idea is the internet is connect to a router with no firewall. that then connects to my comp. the other wire in the router goes to the main one which does have a firewall. So i bypass it

i have that problem the other way round. I have same ping as everyone else but my system seems to work amazing fast. So everyone else is so twitchy on my screen that whenever they drive next to me they usually send me flying a few feet.

my comp needs reformating anyway, so ill try that. ill update on my progress

When anyone tries and joins my server they can't. I can join it but noone else can. I have added ports 22003, 44003 and 22126 on my firewall exceptions and excepted all the programs that mta uses. I have even tried disabling my firewall, but still noone can join my game. Please help!
