I thought it was pretty clear initially... Its just a new map to be used in GTA3 that looks like Liberty City and Vice City merged together that will use a modified version of MTA to make it playable online.

And what about people that set up a fake email account on a free service like hotmail, yahoo, etc?

I am pretty sure it is not. Its GTAWorld which seems to essentially be a merging of the maps from both games so they are playable in one place. Not a full mod but just grabbing the flavour of both games. This is my understanding of this project.

Guys,I think you are reading it all wrong. It would essentially LOOK like Gta3 + VC. Basically a new MAP running off of GTA3. No need to have the Vice City game at all. Look at the main page (http://www.gta3mta.tk) for a little picture of what they mean by all this (nm, I will just post it here)

Yeah I know exactly what he was saying. And I was making fun of its obviousness No hard feelings of course, I am just teasing. I eagerly await the release of what will hopefully be as good a mod as it seems like it will be. All I ask is that it is released before the end of the summer and since that is 99.999999999% going to happen I am happy

I have been watching this project and these forums for some time now and as .3 nears release I thought I would finally register and say hello. So, HELLO! I am so excited for this mod's release as it is obviously going to be incredibly killer! I have never had a lan party but this might be an excuse for one
