I've tried everything and read tons of forums and still no luck. I can connect using localhost and using my local ip adress but not my external ip adress. I've opened all ports that need forwarding in both my DSL modem and my router. ASE doesnt see my server. My server config is good. It just simply does not work. Damn why does this have to be so complicated?

I have DSL and have had problems running servers in the past. Something with NAT not being able to open certain ports and connect... this may be my problem.

The same thing always happens to me too. Just be pateint and keep refreshing after it says idle and that seems to work for me.

I have the same problem. I want to run my own server but am experiencing the exact same thing. I'm not a complete idiot so I cant figure out why I cant get this to work. You shouldnt need an IT degree to run a freakin game server!
