Fisrt off you will need to learn to script a bit to do what you want look here https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/index.php?title=Main_Page line 43 of your map 43. you need to do this in a script not the map and you do it as described in these wiki pages first you need to use createObject https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/CreateObject and then use moveObject https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/MoveObject good luck

  4. I personaly hate them they are overabused ugly crap that just takes up more space in a topic than the actual conversation 90% of the time.

  7. It has come to my attention the Race gamemode maps i submitted turned out to be broken after they were converted and included in the MTA1.0 resources. One line in the meta files never got converted with the maps. It caused the race pickups to not show when used in the Race gamemode.   8. i would imagine you are talking about markers (glowing colored coronas) used in MTADM that is done through scripting not the MTA Race Editor. learn more here http://development.mtasa.com/index.php?title=CreateMarker

    hmm lets see, what exactly is so hard about freeroam? I'll explain it for you: Do whatever you want. (i know its so hard lol) Seems there is 2 kinds of players. 1 the kind that needs linear gameplay and their hand held through everything (cant think for themselves). 2 the kind that hate linear gameplay and love freeroam (cant stand having their hand held through linear gameplay). I'm sorry you are confused about the freeroam, do what you like concept. Personaly i cant stand being forced into some game mode and having to do things this way or that. To each his own i suppose. All i can say is, if you dont like the freedom to do as you wish, then dont join the KWKSRV DM MTA game server. If you'd like to see whats possible in mta and could explore a cool map for hours on end, then the KWKSRV DM server is probably exactly what you are looking for.

    THX I should mention, you have the client side of those scripts in your resourcecache but you dont have the majority of the code required to run them. Normally i dont release scripts , especially ones that arnt 100% mine. (like the helimagnets) That would be disrespectfull to those who wrote parts of it and dont want me releasing it and its antiproductive to my server trying to gain some popularity. sorry The one exception would be the Christmas Trees script i made and released as a Christmas Gift to the community.

  15. Ok what? A tutorial for what? To fix the editor? There is already topics on how to fix that, i was just being nice and including the files. (i know i pay for being nice) I'm sorry you dont see any difference maybe you should look harder. If you think im going to sort and categorize every item in san andreas you are crazy. (be my guest) As i stated above how many times, the models are in the same order as they are in the ide files, sorted by the part of the map they come from, with all the parts that belong with them, for example: (building, landmass, lighting, lod, roads etc). but if you find no use for it then dont use it thats fine by me. more cool objects for me
  16. Yes there are many items still missing in the "missing objects" files. (the "missing objects" file was made by trial and error, they typed in a short range of ids till models showed up) KWKSND's Ultimate MTA Race Map Editor Upgrade is made from the ide's directly meaning, if a model id showed in an ide file then its in this pack including: all the lod models, all the light models, all the alphas, all the car parts, all the useless crap, and all the cool stuff. This package does not harm your install in any way, it just includes the map editor files in the right folders to fix problems for MTA Race 1.1.2 users, my Ultimate Stunt Park Map , my pickups skins and my new .MODELS files. Any other .MAP or .MODELS etc will not be touched.
  17. I'm glad you asked. The main reason would be: 4. All new .Models files made by KWKSND that include every possible object in GTASA. Many objects were missing from race editor. for example all the buildings lights, neons, many cool objects like spray paint tags, plus you can place things like car bumpers ,ground effects and rims as objects to make cool garages etc. Even the items used to make the wintery Liberty City level from single player are available. These new .MODELS were made directly from the .IDE files so every model id used in the game is there and none are missing other than a few items (cause crashes or dont show in objects browser). Also its nice to just have things sorted in another way.( categorized by location same as the .IDE files ) Of course if you are on the mta team and have the new editor its of no use to you. If you use some other editor it may be no use to you. But if you are like me & still use the old editor and like it just fine then you'll love this upgrade & you wont believe the stuff that was missing. Plus if you downloaded race 1.1.2 and cant get the editor running ( messed up installer names a folder wrong and has one missing ) Dont know how to fix it? This pack will do it for you & give all above mentioned models,a few skins for the pickups and fun stunt map to play with. What more do you want?

  19. im here to report a solution maybe what you dont explain is if you use vista or not. but it sounds like it. a guy in the irc channel was having the same prob. he couldnt find the maps after saving maps on vista. then he found them by doing this i went to the maps folder then at top bar clicked compatibility files tab. then they were there. i hope this helps.
