AMD Athlon 64 3200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.20GHz 512 KB Cache 512MB PC3200 SDRAM ATi Radeon 9800 PRO 128 MB with DirectX 9 support Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit soundcard EAX Advanced HD DVD Writer / CD Writer Dual Layer instead of a floppy drive it came with some kind of memory stick & flash card stuff 250 Watt PSU (sad but gets the job done) HP vs15" LCD Flat Panel Monitor Windows XP Home Edition (have Pro version but currently using H.E.) and it has pretty blue lights on the tower & monitor haha I just got this pc a few weeks ago for just under $800, it was on sale or something.

I read a statement from Rockstar and what I gather is the game will be unavailable to buy until this fall, except for stores willing to sell it with the AO sticker, and they are only going to remove the Hot Coffee material from the game then get it rerated as Mature and put back in the major retail stores again. So people will be able to buy it again and play MTA still.

He is probably using an onboard graphic card that doesn't have T&L support. Most generic onboard cards will come with 32 or 64 MB VRAM but not have the required power like 3D acceleration, T&L, and vertex/pixel shading. I tried playing some games on an onboard card before and it sucked. Some games ran ok but slowly and other games had a black picture with some white shapes. Not having T&L causes this to happen.

That's the idea. People complained they couldn't see enough road because of the camera angle and this lets you change it.

Thunderhawk just made a nice camhack to fix the camera angle problem on vehicles. http://members1.chello.nl/~j.vanschepen/camhack.zip What it does is removes the 3 second timer that makes your cam go back behind the car after you've moved it with your mouse and started driving. I just tried it and it works great. Start your game, minimize it, click enable on the program and go back to your game.

I'd make one but I don't know how to find camera memory addresses only health, ammo and time etc.

I am playing it with everything maxed out high quality settings and it runs pretty sweet tho after 30 mins or so playing the game does slow down here and there which can be fixed by a reboot. My system specs aren't super wonderful either. 256 MB DDR SDRAM, ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128 MB VRAM, Pentium 4 Windows XP Pro and below 300 watt PSU i'm not sure exact wattage but it's in the 200s Oh yeah, and I have 6x anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering turned on at my graphic card's control panel and 3x anti-aliasing turned on from the game's options screen. Still runs quick! I read about people having sound issues on their Sound Blaster Live cards etc (fixed by turning hardware acceleration down or off) where not all sounds played during rain etc. I have a generic sound card that came with this HP computer and no sound problems at all.

I don't feel like going thru all 5 pages of whining so I'll just reply to something I read. You can change your driving cam by pressing v I believe. If you can't see enough road then change the cam angle just like you could on Vice City.

What is so hard about going to options and changing the controls to what you like? I didn't like the driving controls so I changed them to match Vice City's.
