Ok, so I just made my map but I cant find the .map file in the map folder in map_editor... And I need it...

Alright, so I followed the instructions to making MTA work on vista 100% as told, right from this forum, and after I make, and save the map, the .map file doesn't appear in map_editor>maps. I worked hard on a map, but it the file doesn't appear in the folder, but it still opens in the editor?! Where is this file, and how is the program opening it if I can't find it! Ive done a search for it too. Please help! I've really been trying to find an answer by google but I can't!
