but why does it use so much cpu? 99,8%

I have a athlon 2400+ server with 512mb Ram, on a 100mbp/s connection. With 20 people in the VC server it uses 50% cpu, with 26 people it uses 99.8% cpu. I have installed all the patches, the server is linux CentOS (red hat enterprise)
