MIKI785 Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 This happened to me a few minutes ago. Maybe it's the client's problem, because I have currently shit internet Lua Scripter Owner of mshost.cz MTA portal.
iPrestege Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) No it's from the forum i don't know why i think because the spam's topic's -.- . Edited May 7, 2013 by Guest
MIKI785 Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Hmm, there are spammers on my forum too and I didn't have this problem there. Lua Scripter Owner of mshost.cz MTA portal.
Woovie Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 This has nothing to do with spammers. Everyone gets it right now. If you open more than 5-8 URLs in a row, it times out for a little while. I'll bug the admins about it but I doubt they know the problem nor know a solution. "The humble beet is the answer to all riddles." - Rolf
MIKI785 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 The problem disappeared with my new internet connection... it's ok now for me. Lua Scripter Owner of mshost.cz MTA portal.

iPrestege Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) What about make a 'CAPTCHA' code on register page i think it's a good idea . Edited May 7, 2013 by Guest
Woovie Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) I've personally used CAPTCHA, reCAPTCHA, flash-based authentications, etc. Nothing will stop them. The bots do the registration mostly automatically, then they have some chinese 12 year old do the CAPTCHA portion so the bot will register correctly. It's really an endless fight. iPrestege Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) But why the Forum "VB" if it has a human verification code "CAPTCHA" there's no SPAM, but if there's no "CAPTCHA" code the forum will have a spams post topics . Edited May 7, 2013 by Guest
Jaysds1 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Think of it like this, you can't stop them either way. Bot's are created by other people, so either way the spam will continue... MTA Team qaisjp Posted May 7, 2013 MTA Team Posted May 7, 2013 Disallow URL's for people who have only 1 post. This way the bot get's an error when trying to post and they don't make any real money because they're not advertising for much.
Woovie Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 We found the issue and resolved it. I/O issues in regards to software RAID with OpenVZ. Should be a lot faster! "The humble beet is the answer to all riddles." - Rolf
