0 Towncivilian Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Please install the following: Audio driver Provide another MTADiag log after installing. Does your GTA:SA single player work?
0 KhornateMonkey Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 "No driver was supported in this package"
0 Towncivilian Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Odd. Oh well, the driver isn't a necessity. Does GTA:SA single player work OK?
0 KhornateMonkey Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 Nothing happens when I start GTA SA singleplayer
0 Towncivilian Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Please reinstall GTA:SA and MTA:SA and see if that fixes the problem.
0 KhornateMonkey Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 I've tried this twice before and nothing changed
0 Towncivilian Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 GTA:SA doesn't work in single player even with a clean install?
0 KhornateMonkey Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 GTA:SA doesn't work in single player even with a clean install? Re-installing now. I usually have two GTA SA folders. A clean one for MTA SA, and a modded one for SA:MP. I've also changed the directory of GTA SA
0 KhornateMonkey Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 GTA SA works on a clean install. Now i'll install MTA SA and try. EDIT: Installed MTA, splash screen appears, nothing happens
0 Jaysds1 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 1. Check if you have any important updates in Microsoft Update
0 Towncivilian Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Try doing a repair install of Visual C++ 2008 SP1 runtimes, then running Windows Update to see if any new updates are available after the repair.
0 KhornateMonkey Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 No change to MTA, and I did not need to update
0 KhornateMonkey Posted December 1, 2012 Author Posted December 1, 2012 Fixed. It appeared that my gta sa.exe and timecyc(located in dtata folder) files were corrupt somehow. I simply asked someone with a clean install for their files. I'll link you to the ones I used. http://www.mediafire.com/?9qd29u1h2c9jyst Replace all files with those in the above archive
0 Towncivilian Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Great to hear you've solved it. Sorry we didn't figure that out sooner!
