custom skins not showing up

Hello, I am running a server on MTA:SA 1.5.3 with the gamemode Freeroam GUI which I got from the MTA Community because I didn't back up my skins.xml file. Anyway, on my server I installed using modloader some skins, some vehicles and some weapons. Everything is fine, but my skins aren't working. I replaced every model and they still don't show up (e.g. truth.dff, truth.txt replaced with original truth.dff, truth.txd). Can somebody please tell me what is happening? Thank you in advance!

a bit late reply but modloader can't replace special skins 
anyways to replace them either make a script or either open one of the files which has all the skins vehicles and weapons (forgot the name) and you can add your own names there 
Eg:
Lol1 = truthid, *blablabla*
