Guest Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 I have two quesions.. I want to set this whole thing up, on my linux server. Which version of GTA III do I need? Can I use the version directly from cd and try it or do I need to update GTA III (apply latest version GTA3 Patch 1.1) and then install MTA? On Linux? Do I need to copy the Windows content to the linux dir? Like maps, paks, etc?

Si|ent Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 You dont need the game at all to run a server, you just need the *nix server to suit your distro. You do of course need a windows2k/xp system and the game itself to PLAY however. The artist formerly known as [MTA]MrBump
