Problem for start a mta-server

CentOS 5 was released 2007 so you're working with an almost 10-year-old operating system.

Even though CentOS 5 still receives security updates from its maintainer, we cannot afford maintaining such an old system. Therefore, please move to a newer system e.g. Debian 8 or CentOS 7.

Yes, at the same time had realized that the centos was too old, not only for the mta, more to run many applications.

You should use Ubuntu Server or Debian, Cent OS is almost died.

You're so wrong on a huge scale it's crazy. CentOS and RHEL are the go to for a lot of major companies (Including the one I work for) and will be for years to come. CentOS is based on RHEL and is fully compatible with RHEL. Debian would be next best.

For this purpose Debian or Ubuntu is much better, take a look in some forums, almost everybody uses those systems. Cent and RHEL is more restrict nowadays, for personal use doesn't make sense.
