Simple0x47 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Some one who could bring a hosting for making a MTA VC server? I bring the scripting skills
Callum Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 MTA 0.X has extremely limited scripting capabilities; it doesn't even have client-side scripting.
Jaysds1 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Dkm I'm currently trying to set up this server on a vps and I will let you know when I get them working and accessible.

Considering you keep wanting to continue the project, you sure do ****-talk it a lot. Edited November 20, 2016 by SugarD-x 1
Callum Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 That's why I want to continue it, to make it more on-par with MTA SA. 1

Making comments like that doesn't exactly get it "on par" with MTA:SA. Killing off anyone's interest would only kill development for the project. 1
azerty62 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 MTA SA on sanvice mod or open vcmod. I would like to create a server with it, but it need a custom build of mta sa i suppose.
Captain Cody Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Here's an ancient test of my first attempt back in 2015

But that's not gonna happen so we can just use the engine functions with the ID limits.
Popular Post Captain Cody Posted May 5, 2017 Popular Post Posted May 5, 2017 Anything is possible in regular SA; just requires lots of work. Here's a good example of what's possible these days in MTA. 4
Simple0x47 Posted May 8, 2017 Author Posted May 8, 2017 Possible doesn't mean optimized and efficient.

SAMP doesn't have client-side scripting(only dialogs and sound streaming is client side, no fs or etc), but it's not so limited(only custom models is really big limitation).
Captain Cody Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 (edited) Actually @Simple01 this is very optimized people get better FPS on my server's map then they get in standard SA. Edited May 8, 2017 by CodyJ(L) 1
SugarD-x Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I would suggest starting a separate topic for the map mod. It doesn't quite match the discussion at hand. (Still an awesome map, though!) 1

The last two remaining ones are way too busy with real life to make any progress right now. I'm still actively updating the web services, but nothing is going on with the actual game mod because of that reason.
