Guest Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 when i connect to a server, start game, click start Multi t e.tc... then when the pinkish bar is fully loaded, it quits to desktop
Scorp Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Most likely you've selected the wrong version in the client, change it under the 'options' dialog. You could also try using version 1.1 if you haven't patched it already download 1.1 here
Slothman Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 (edited) this is almost always caused by a modified version of gta. If this is a downloaded, cracked, australian, or modded version of gta, then it may not work properly. Edited February 21, 2005 by Guest
Mike Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 (edited) This could be a problem with the error report tool (me and Talidan have been having problems). Try renaming or moving the "scm_vice.ini" and "MTAErrorreporter.asi" files in the Vice City directory and start it up again. Also, Sloth (or another mod), please merge metal_head's post with this one as it seems to be the same problem. Edited February 21, 2005 by Guest

l2ebel Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 right click a file-rename or just cut it and put it on the desktop and see if it works, you can put it back into the vc folder later
mETAL hEAD Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 did you purchase, borrow, or download the game? I purchase it. mETAL hEAD
mETAL hEAD Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 it works BUT no player are showing up on the radar.
Mike Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 This will only run on Windows XP/2000. If you have XP or 2000 then it is probably to do with your audio, try new drivers etc..
darkdreamingdan Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 make sure your 'legal' copy of VC has all the necessary files in the audio directory, and make sure your 'real' VC disc 2 is inserted when u run it if ur not using a crack. Try updating your audio drivers, updating gta3 etc
mETAL hEAD Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I got it working. Sorry about the confuseon.
