Problems to get in the game

Ello all

When i start MTA 0.5 and select a server and connect to it i am in the game as spectator.

When i click on start game the program asked me were i installed Vice city but when i click on my hard drive the program is crashing,i heard you can also connect when you start VC yourself but when i do that i yust start a new game and i don't play online.

Can someone please help me whit this.

urm i yust bought my new PC last suterday.

P4 3.7 ghz

1024 ddr mem

240 gig hd

256 mb video readon

and as internet adsl 1024

i think that that is not the prob

Freeze when client tries to display dialog asking for game path

There have been a couple of occurence of this, and we'd be interested to see why this is. You can avoid it by manually setting the path in the mta.ini in your game folder (not windows folder anymore). If you have this problem, can you please create a system info profile (Start -> Run -> "systeminfo > c:\sysinfo.txt") (no quotes) then email me the file sysinfo.txt on your c: drive (email is eAi[at]opencoding[dot]net).

For Vice City, your mta.ini should contain (replace the path if necessary):

[Game-VC]
Version=0
Location=C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City\gta-vc.exe

Also, you can't start MTA from within Vice City. It must be started from either the shortcuts or from ASE.
