-i.Tanner Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Ok, so i just got the new mta, seems to work great, except for the fact that the god damn client crashes every god damn 5 minutes, this happens with both gta3 and vice, I am running windows 2000, any help would be greatly appreciated.
StAnToN Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Make sure you have the latest video drivers for your video card also make sure that you are selecting the right version of the executable to play with (1.0 or 1.1) in the options of the MTACLIENT.exe
ijsf Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 The client has memory leaks, but shouldn't be crashing every 5 minutes.. (we'll look into fixing this for the next release) How much RAM do you have?

][\][ikatee][\][ Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 512 of ram, and Im using a "slightly" outdated 64mb ATI video card, but this never kept me from playing mta before 0.5 Ive got the same amount of RAM and also an older 64mb ATI card,and my game doesnt have the same problems as yours,i get a little desync in this new version,but i think thats just the game,cuzz other people i know get it too.
