game crashed rigth after map loading

anyone have a clue why this is happening, it makes a "pong" noise, and i get a unhandled something error and i gotta press alt tab to get back to windows

i used to play it ok, but that was a year or so ago, with different gfx drivers and stuff

That always happens but they fixed the one where it crashes when you choose a spawn.

have you tried both vc versions? 1.0 and 1.1?

at which address is the unhandled exeption?

I really hope 0.5 auto-detects the game version.

Yeah that has been annoying me. But can it detect if your using a no-cd? I doubt it, because no-cds don't have the same size.

It probably won't help since the majority uses no-cds anyway
