MTA Team ccw Posted November 9, 2015 MTA Team Share Posted November 9, 2015 We have one of our top guys working on it. If it is possible, I would guess 2/3 weeks. Link to comment
Dany Alex
1.5.1 build 7618 it's ok for centOS? Link to comment
Myths_Gaming
This problem exists from many previous versions as CentOS is bundled with an old version of gcc, all what you need to do is to get the latest version of gcc and then compile&install it. At least that worked for me in both CentOS 5 and 6. Link to comment
Dany Alex
where can I get? Link to comment
Myths_Gaming
where can I get? Make sure that you've at least 1GB of RAM. wget ftp://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/gnu/gcc/releases/ ... 9.3.tar.gz tar xf gcc-4.9.3 cd gcc-4.9.3 ./configure && make && sudo make install && echo "success" Note that it can take some time. Fella
where can I get? Make sure that you've at least 1GB of RAM. wget ftp://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/gnu/gcc/releases/ ... 9.3.tar.gz tar xf gcc-4.9.3 cd gcc-4.9.3 ./configure && make && sudo make install && echo "success" Note that it can take some time. i don't quite get how did you manage to pull that off. i followed your steps exactly but got some form of a positive result only with the first step, i downloaded something, the rest of the steps did nothing, but showed a few error messages: i don't get it, what did i do wrong? MTA Team ccw Posted December 9, 2015 MTA Team Share Posted December 9, 2015 On the second line, try: tar xf gcc-4.9.3.tar.gz Link to comment
Fella
On the second line, try: tar xf gcc-4.9.3.tar.gz okay, thanks, now i guess i successfully went through all the steps: but the thing is: nothing changed. mta 1.5.1 still shows the same error, what do i do? Link to comment
MTA Team ccw Posted December 9, 2015 MTA Team Share Posted December 9, 2015 Well there is an error reported. I Binged 'no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH centos' and found this possible solution: yum groupinstall "Development Tools" Link to comment

MTA Team ccw Posted December 9, 2015 MTA Team Share Posted December 9, 2015 Did you run the fix after installing build-essential? wget ftp://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/gnu/gcc/releases/ ... 9.3.tar.gz tar xf gcc-4.9.3.tar.gz cd gcc-4.9.3 ./configure && make && sudo make install && echo "success" (btw, this thread was about CentOS, so it probably won't work.) Fella
well, it kinda worked, showed a new error message configure: error: Building GCC requires GMP 4.2+, MPFR 2.4.0+ and MPC 0.8.0+. Try the --with-gmp, --with-mpfr and/or --with-mpc options to specify their locations. Source code for these libraries can be found at their respective hosting sites as well as at ftp://gcc.gnu.org/pub/gcc/infrastructure/. See also http://gcc.gnu.org/install/prerequisites.html for additional info. If you obtained GMP, MPFR and/or MPC from a vendor distribution package, make sure that you have installed both the libraries and the header files. They may be located in separate packages. MTA Team ccw Posted December 9, 2015 MTA Team Share Posted December 9, 2015 Try this (32 bit Linux): wget -P /usr/local/lib https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/files/modules/32/libstdc++.so.6 export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib This solution for both 32 and 64 bit Linux is now described on http://linux.multitheftauto.com/ Link to comment
