Banning host instead of ip

I've wrote a portion of a script with a little of help with from my friend.

alias.hostban {
 if ($left(1,14) == *@*) { custom identifier } 
}

The only probly is figuring out how to get it too work.

for instance in IRC you can kick someone by:

*@*

@*some.host.com

so any of you have an idea?
