GTA3 Multiplayer

Hello, i am a n00b to this forum so i apoligise if this has been spotted before:

OK i posted a few weeks ago on another gta forum about finding a menu screen entitled "Multiplayer24". I have now discovered "Hostgame24", "Findgame24", "Connection24" and "Singleplayer24".

I think that this is enough proof to safely say R* were originaly going to make gta3 (PC) a multiplayer game with a connection over the internet.

Multiplayer24 - would be the main multiplayer screen

Hostgame24 - would be the menu for u to select to host a game

Findgame24 - a menu to search for hosts

Connection24 - possably a loading screen showing the connection status

Singleplayer24 - to start a regular single-player game

These filed can be viewed with a .txd tool and can be located in the following;

Rockstar Games\GTAIII\models\menu.txd

I am still looking through to find any more traces of multiplayer things.

note: i am not using a modified virsion of the game OR any MTA stuff.

EDIT: JUST FOUND!.. it seems that originaly, cop cars would show up on the mini map. if u have a txd viewer, go to: Rockstar Games\GTAIII\models\hud.txd - then view the file "radar_copcar"

theres also some mp code left over and other things that never have been implemented at least i personally cant remember any situation in sp where mine models have been used
