help on making a MTA server with a wireless conection ip

hi can anyone help me on how to make a server with a wireless connection ip e.g 10.0.0.4 cuz i have been trying many things and got no where

when i go into dos and i type ipconfig it says 10.0.0.4.iv tryed using this ip i have also tryed using the 127.0.0.1 but when i ask some 1 to see it it is up and running they say it isnt there.

I use wired connection to my router, but I have a access-point that connects with my neighbor, the ips you are describing sound like the local host ip. I'm not sure how it works on direct Wireless Internet.

Maybe you forgot forwarding the ports? (2003 & 4003)

A wireless router is exactly the same as a wired one in terms of addressing. Go to http://www.whatismyip.org to find out your external IP.

Also, you may need to forward ports on your router. To find out how to do this, go to http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm

im still not shore how to to forward my ports if its any help im using mcafee security center if someone could give me infomation on how to do this would be great
