Half-Life 2 release candidate submitted

Valve has just sent its release candidate of HL2 to Vivendi. If Vivendi approve it, this will result in Half-Life 2 going gold, which in turn should result in a release in the next couple of weeks (probably slightly longer for Europeans though). I’m currently not sure whether Steam users who pre-ordered Half-Life 2 or who have ATI vouchers will get the game as soon as it goes gold, or whether they will have to wait until the boxed copy is released before unlocking the HL2 preload.

Oh, and I've just heard that CS:Source and Half-Life: Source (the port of the original game) have been submitted as well.
