xTravax
Hi MTA Community! I want to suggest a feature, but before anything i would like to see what you think. I think that it would be good for servers to have ability to make their playerlist hidden(though playercount remains public) Basically the player list in that case could only be seen from inside (if a server has scoreboard) I don't really have a good reason or point why this should be implemented but one situation in which this feature would help would be preventing some banned people from daily spying on the player list. Please state your opinion about this below if you have one, no matter if its negative or positive opinion. xTravax Link to comment
Perfect
Or MTA can modify Its Ban System itself. Though i don't think checking(spying) on the server player list can be a huge issue. Link to comment
Bonsai
I guess you could rename any player that joins, save the original nick as element data, and work with that in chat and other features that show the nickname. Obviously not the best solution, but suggestions hardly make it into MTA and if, then it takes time. Link to comment
JR10
I can't think of a use for hiding or masking the players list, what can a banned player do if he sees the players in-game? Link to comment
Callum
I can't think of a use for hiding or masking the players list, what can a banned player do if he sees the players in-game? Obviously target people who play on the server. Link to comment
JR10
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "target", whether its cyber or verbal, hiding the players will probably not stop such things. Link to comment
