Selling scripts - IS OT NORMAL?

Waht I have seen in the Resource forum: many scripts is just for sale! I think it is wrong. First of all MTA is OpenSource project with big community. Next, I am came here from russian Bukkit community and i know the rules of this ciommunity, and russian, and worldwide: DO NOT SELL THE PLUGINS! Dear administrators, please, add the rule that firbids Resource selling.

We can sell our scripts! There's no problem in it. Ok I'll prove this:

- You make a program in C++

- You sell it

- People will add rule don't sell it

- LOL?

So it is normal - no server to test script, ok... And if there some security measures? Like... SomeCoolGuy selling you script. You buyed it, he cames to your server and makes your sserver unplayable by hittng some command that only he knows.

They must provide proofs, and the owner might see the backdoor, and server can't be unplayable. You can remove the script immediately and fix the acl.etc

Don't buy scripts that are compiled.

I don't think anybody has to right to forbid you from selling your work, since you spent your time scripting it.

In general selling scripts is nothing bad. But when I see someone is trying to sell crappy and overpriced resource... free market .
