Hoardseeker
Well, why not to make a Separate MTA version for Android? Many people will host servers.... Link to comment
Ahmed Abo-elezz
verry bugs ithink you can ask about MTA gta IV or V and PC Also but dont ask about android because it verry bugs Link to comment
John Smith
it has already been decided that multi theft auto won't appear on Android(at least MTA SA won't) though MTA V would be really nice if developers want to keep this project alive(people won't play mta sa forever, will they?) Anubhav
Masry? Buggy? Do you think Andriod is buggy? Then shutup. It all depends how you work on it. You can make it's hard to and scripting.etc in it will be to complicated. There are some reasons Link to comment

Make the game in java android and scripting for lua: https://github.com/mkottman/AndroLua it might work, or you can use android for it with restrictions! Link to comment

Anubhav
An MTA client for Android?Please... It hurts me to see threads like this. To me also yes. It has been denied 100 times, but still people post. Ok, one this is clear: THIS CANNOT BE DONE BY MTA DEVELOPERS. WE NEED A BIG ENOUGH TEAM TO DO THIS AND EVEN LEARN THE LANGUAGE. ( sorry for caps ). Link to comment
Renkon
Actually, MTA for Android is a pretty viable project, and far from impossible since most of the source is already available for PC's GTA. It would take some time though, but it's closer than it actually seems. And you don't need a really big team for this. No need to post for posting saying stupid things like "LEARN THE LANGUAGE", please, most languages are practically the same, there are some differences like between LUA and C++ or BASIC and JAVASCRIPT for instance, but they all share the fact that they can be coded in the same way with different words. It won't be probably done ,but its not a bad idea Link to comment
ixjf
No, it isn't as easy as you say, Renkon. Other than the ability to use the same language, C++, and certainly Lua as the scripting language, the whole code would have to be changed - the way it hooks memory, injects itself into the game, the memory offsets, graphics, and especially the hooks - all the inlined x86 assembly code would have to be ported to ARM, for all mobile devices that run ARM CPUs, which is the majority. Then once all that is done, you'd need to test it, and ccw, the only currently active developer, aside from a few contributors, would have double the work maintaining 2 codebases. So, once more, the answer is no - that's never going to happen. If there was a big enough team, they would most likely rather focus on a MTA V, anyway. Link to comment
Ahmed Abo-elezz
i see some people say MTA android is good idea ok tell me if MTA make for android what is time will spend for it ? and if make MTA GTA IV what is the time will spend for it ? and want make it by language lua it is verry stupid idea because lua in android with more codes is verry bug so you nead to C# or C++ or JS now tell me where you will find player have language like C# or C++ or JS are you think C# is easy like Lua sure no to learn C# or C++ or JS you need to join academy and spend 4 years and after academy you need to training 3 years or more to be 50% skill in this language so now we need to walk in one way and this way is MTA GTA IV and i think Any development in MTA without Thinking MTA GTA IV is lost time only With all due respect for each member and sorry about bad english Link to comment

I thought GTA SA Android Version was similar, but since I don't even have an Android mobile it's pretty hard to be right. Thanks for the explanation. Link to comment

Deepu
quite impossible because, I have scripted a program in my school lab using c++to find the characteristics and data usage and internet settings in an android phone, So, I say, MTA uses quite a huge amount of RAM, which will result in an unstable android..... also, there are no serials of products compatible with androids, which will result in (no) serial bans... also anybody can hack any account because, the database returns garbage values...which were previously dumped in the phone... About the Android serials I've investigated a little bit, and it's possible to set up some sort of 'serial system', but RAM would be a problem for current phones, that's completely true. Yeah... it's not viable at all Link to comment
