Noki Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Hi, I haven't scripted in MTA for at least 6 months or so. I'm quite rusty and I'm just getting back into the swing of things. Has there been any big change lately? I heard of OOP got introduced and so on. But, anything major happened that would require me to go back through all my resources and make changes? Thanks.
ixjf Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 If anything broke backwards compatibility, you'd have MTA 2.0 now. Minor changes should be backwards compatible. I used to know how to code, but then I took an arrow in the knee. Project Redivivus - Remaking Old School MTA With New Code MTA 0.6 Nightly 1 released
Dealman Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 There are changelogs for every patch as far as I know. The most significant being 1.4. If I help you in a thread and you need further assistance, please don't PM me - use the thread you created instead. This way everyone on the forum can take advantage of it.
Bonsai Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 downloadFile function maybe. Even though its not that useful, at least in my opinion, since files have to be included in the meta file.
