Stranger Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Hi guyes i have a question which is, what does 'download="true"' do ? and what does 'protected="true"' do ?
Controlled Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 download: Whether or not to be sent to the client automatically (optional). Default is "true". Using "false" will mean they are not sent on resource start but could later be used by downloadFile (from version 1.4) https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Meta.xml Don't know about protected though. Probably just doesn't cache the script which means they have to download it again, next time they join, but they can't steal the script from you. You don't need that though because you got luac.multitheftauto.com
Stranger Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 thanks, but there is an option named 'cache' this make it unable to be downloaded, so the protect option is using for another thing which i don't know what is it. thank you for answering. so , any other answers ?
John Smith Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 thanks, but there is an option named 'cache' this make it unable to be downloaded, so the protect option is using for another thing which i don't know what is it. thank you for answering. so , any other answers ? protected option is for mtaserver.conf file and if protected mode is 1 then the resource can't be stopped/restarted
Stranger Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 oh thanks, but i've seen some meta have a protect option on it, why is that ?
MTA Team botder Posted July 30, 2014 MTA Team Posted July 30, 2014 there is an option named 'cache' this make it unable to be downloaded? That option loads the script only into the memory and doesn't save the content on your disk as a file.
