I'm not an expert but I used to code a lot for MiRc scripts etc so I know my way around the program but this small thing has me beating my head against the desk..

I have my server set up and running fine...people can access it through the router and I can run the admin tool (all version 0.4) connect and change weather etc.

Now I try and connect to the SAME port and IP addtress using Mirc to run a few scripts and I get (connection refused) , anyone got any ideas?

I'm running the 0.66 (latest) Mirc

Thanks for any help or advice in advance.

I'm connecting to the admin port.

Are you collecting locally? (i.e. are you using your LAN IP instead of your external internet one?)

Type "localhost" instead of an IP.

ahh that might be it...thanks

Just checked and get the same error :(

It SHOULD work...it's one of those problems where you KNOW it should work but won't....

Sounds like your using an old version of mtama designed for use with mta0.3, get the new one

I'm assuming the latest version is MTAMA 2.004 ?

If it is I have that one..

I'm really really puzzled...

It's a real shame because I was looking forward to creating some fun scripts.

It's either an authorisation error or Mirc (6.16) just doesn't think the server is actualy running...
