dystopia
I'm sure most people have seen us around MTA for quite awhile now, figured we'd build up a few troops before even bothering to create a thread here lol. Anyway the clan is based on training to destroy cheaters, hackers, modders etc by any means. This include major training and technique development on the three main instant kill tactics. In doing so we send them to the death every MTA player deserves (a fair one that is.) to send them to hell in place of the Death God Current members include: (In order of date joined) Dystopia - Founder Kagato - Founder Kaz Bladexen DeathDealer13 (Death) Itachi Xodus Viper Kagato has also drafted a formal letter to the community: Dear Multi Theft Auto Community, Hello, my name is Kagato. Dystopia and I are the founders of the Batsu No Shinigami Clan. Most of you know us by our handle BNS_. Batsu No Shinigami is Japanese that translates to Clan of the Death God. I have sent this letter in hopes that you will better understand our clan and also to give a word of advice to those willing to listen. I am merely expressing my concern and opinion and respect each person’s right to not listen. We are a recent addition to the many clans of MTA. We are still in development and only have roughly 10 members. We don’t advertise on servers, nor do we ask people on servers to join. We leave the doors to our “shrine” to everyone wanting to play on MTA under Bushido Law. We scan participants and are severely anti-cheat. If a member of BNS is found cheating, there is no warning or second chances; they are immediately rejected from the clan. Talk in MTA has been spreading that we are a Anti-Cheater Clan that will attack the many numerous cheaters on MTA now. This was debated on our forum board and voted on if we should go truly Anti-Cheat and if so, what is the correct course of action. Last I checked our boards; the current vote was 6-0 for anti-cheat. Our course of action is still undecided but we are now discussing if we should accept “bounties” from everyone on cheaters and form an archive to keep our members on the look out on potential cheaters. It has also come to our attention that our name is being spread around MTA and we are gaining not just supporters but also non supporters as well. It seems nowadays when one signs on, a few players already recognize the BNS tag and from what they have heard, will like us or hate us. I find this most saddening. Considering we are a just a small group of decent guys wanting to put back some sort of Honor System into the MTA world. Multi Theft Auto, and the whole Grand Theft Auto Universe for that matter, is truly a thug’s world. Clans were formed and a community developed in its world. But the saying, “There is no Honor among thieves” also holds true here, and I believe this leads to a clans untimely demise. Poor management and lack of leadership let clans become too crowded and the members have no restrictions allowing them to abuse any power that was given to them. Will BNS ever reach that magnitude, I don’t think so. In fact, I think we would veer away from that size. We prefer to be a small number, it makes our training time easier to schedule and it helps create strong trust between members. We do our best for our members to give them a sense of a “home”. We have our own website, a list of their names and a small biography of themselves. We are later hoping to add a Medal System for every Cheater taken down, and possibly a Score List. I think if every clan had some sort of Honor System not particularly our own, but a set of guidelines for it's members to follow, it would not only make the atmosphere less irrational, but it will also mold very skilled players. It will also send a signal to cheaters that we will not stand for their crap. I see inexperienced Admins who either ban too quickly or don’t ban period. I was also going through the MTA boards and noticed the thread on cheating, that topic is quite mixed. At times, people cry cheater too hastily, other times; they don’t cry it at all for fear of sounding like a newbie or bothering the Admins for a false alarm. A speed hacker I noticed on two occasions attacked me, I did not report it nor did I notice anyone else reporting it till later Audigy kicked him. My reason for not reporting it was I wanted to take out the cheater personally regardless of what means I may have had take. Be it stubby shotgun, M60, or Helicopter Blade. I do not panic easily. There is a lack of Administration, and what Administration we have now, only a portion of that is given to people who are level headed, and intelligent enough to use the powers correctly. I feel administrators should be even more scrutinized than normal members because of the power they hold, I see too often immature Admins running around banning without warning cause their ego was damaged, leap to conclusions or on the other extreme, not banning when action should be taken. Do I feel these changes would make the MTA world an even cooler game? Yes. Do I think the advice I just gave be taken into immediate affect cause it is the only way? No. We are doing just fine now, but it’s these annoyances that bug me and a few of my fellow clan members. I am not saying Batsu No Shinigami is going to bring order to MTA (I believe the Cop Clan should do that), we rather are leading by example. How does a clan of almost 10 members (when rarely 2-3 members are ever on at the same time) gain such popularity that can match the massive KFC? Simply put, because our actions speak louder than words. Our main website is, http://www.dystopia.servehttp.com/bns/main.htm, our forum board is http://www.dystopia.servehttp.com/phpbb2/index.php. We are still small and seek new members to help strengthen our clan and to help clear out most cheaters. If you want to be part of a clan that has Honor, give us look. Sincerely Yours, Kagato Co-Founder of Batsu No Shinigami Questions, comments, or business can be posted here. No need for good luck or welcome posts really, we've gotten plenty of those comments lol. And don't spam the thread if you wouldn't mind Edited May 20, 2004 by Guest Link to comment
HeAD.ULK
good luck killing cheaters with your "instant kill" methods, since cheaters can make themselves invincible to anything you can think of that might kill them the most i think you guys can do is harass a cheater by wasting their time, like running around them dodging all their shots, or leading them on a foot chase if they dont run faster than cars Link to comment
