Question

Hello,

Recently, I've noticed that MTA downloads are extremetly slow.. Even 563 kB lasts no less than a minute to finish.

Why's that? My ping is normal. I don't think it's internet's problem

Is there a benefit by uploading only .zip resources to a server instead of normal folders? Does that influence in the clients' download?

well zip resources are much better because when you download them , you download one packet that contain everything

and thats the opposite with the normal folders which you have to download everything inside folder one by one , which will actually take more time and dont forget that zip actually make space less , so 100% zip resources are better

however people like normal folders because they more easy to edit , cuz you dont have to extract the zip then edit it then put them back again inside zip , but i recommended using zip resources

and zip files take less time when you download them

Actually, there is no download benefit in having zipped resources on the server. The server always unzips them before use.

An external HTTP server will boost download performance however.
