Machine Posted January 1, 2014 Share Posted January 1, 2014 hello i got some questions about the mta server running on linux now how much does mtasa with 32 slot need ram is it 128 mega or 256 mega or 512 mega enough ? or even more ram ? can you give me exactly how many slots and how many ram it need Slots = Ram 10 = ????? 20 = ????? 32 = ????? 40 = ????? and which os is better for mta server debian or centos ? MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted January 4, 2014 MTA Team Share Posted January 4, 2014 the required resources depend on so many things. I would simply suggest: just try it. I would prefer Debian, seen a lot of problems in the past with centos and MTA. Also MTA is only available as a 32bit binary. However, Linux should be able to run both 32 and 64 bit software on a 64 bit distribution. Link to comment
