Anti-cheat program missing ?

Haxoryan

Question

Hey Community,

Lately i get kicked from the game saying "Anti-cheat software missing, you were kicked from the server". I never received that before and i'm playing since almost 2 years now.

However i made the switch to Linux and now i play using POL (PlayOnLinux) which works via WINE, a Windows Program Loader under Linux. I have Arch Linux 64-bit and without POL it's not working.

What would i have to install to get that error away ? I got the rest sorted now, just that error left.

I can't enjoy playing as i get randomly kicked, from many servers.

Debug ? Did someone say debug ? No help in the logs at all. What am i missing ?

Please help, appreciate it !

Thank you,

Haxoryan

Is Wine hosting a 64 bit version of Windows? If so, can you try a 32 bit version?

It is hosting a 32-bit version with all 32-bit libraries installed. For that i did WINEMOD=32 and used a 32-bit WINE version which was recommended by wine.com for both games to run smooth.

However i was able to play fine on the server of SAES:RPG for example, for hours without an error.

If i join a server like Mr Green's Race Server i can't even enter and instantly get that message.

So it seems to be a bit server related here. Sometimes i get a MTA crash saying i miss a anti-virus software, may that is related to it ?

Thank you,

Haxoryan

EDIT: Tried to install a anti-virus software using WINE and than PlayOnLinux, both did not work.

visit nightly.multitheftauto.com and download latest update for mta for linux in there.

from anti-cheat guide site on wiki i can see that you need to have minimum this version of mta

Required

1.3.4-9.05858

This did however not work. I think it is only for MTA Servers, not for clients trying to play.

Also i did not need that on Windows in the past, and im running a virtual machine with windows on and all necessary components installed and there i play the game from, also called WINE / Play On Linux.
