rain_gloom
I have tried all of them, but each has its flaws. Notepad++ has no built-in MTA functions and I can't get it to show events and descriptions. Resedit has some descriptions and the ability to instantly test, but is impossible to work with, because it lacks some very basic skills that Npp and every decent text editor (even CEGUI) has. (like ctrl+arrows, line movement) It also has some serious bugs and can't create certain file types. Tabbing is very basic, lack of decent hotkeys (confuses altgr+f with ctrl+f, no ctrl+tab), hard to learn using it. No collapse function. MTA:SE has descriptions, but only for functions. However it is the only one that has exported functions and wiki links. It can't create resources. Link to comment
Castillo
I personally like Notepad++, it mayn't have what you mentioned, but still, is perfect for me. Link to comment
rain_gloom
that was actually helpful. I think I'll give up on trying to use resedit. Link to comment
BieHDC
I use Geany, because i am working always on Linux Mint 15 and also play MTA there for Linux users here, this will be the best, tryed about 10 editors ;D Link to comment
Sora
I'm using both notepad ++ and scite but i prefer scite and rarely using notepad ++ i got scite with luaforwindows package it's somehow faster opening files and of course since it came with lua package it had a built-in debugger and some other features look here viewtopic.php?f=91&t=31891&start=30#p451767 Link to comment
