0 Sex*
After updating sound card and BIOS: Still having some freezes at startup. And i have encountered another problem, then switching to battery then it goes to Intel and DISABLES the ATI graphics so even if I put in the AC adapter then it doesnt switch and i have to manually enable the ATI graphics from Device Manager and then restart PC so it would work normally on ATI again. Do I have to reinstall ATI drivers or what? EDIT: Tried re-installing but that didnt help, also something is wrong with the fucking PC, before it did ~50fps now 15-20fps again. I think im gonna disable the Intel graphics if Im not gonna find a solution to this problem. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 5/26/2013, 10:36:57 Machine name: ADMIN-PC Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.130318-1532) Language: Estonian (Regional Setting: Estonian) System Manufacturer: Acer System Model: Aspire 5820TG BIOS: InsydeH2O Version V1.25 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 520 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz Memory: 6144MB RAM Available OS Memory: 5814MB RAM Page File: 1866MB used, 3945MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.01.7600.16385 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: No problems found. 0 Towncivilian
OK, the audio and BIOS updated successfully. Disabling onboard graphics may help. It's supposed to switch seamlessly between the two and use the onboard graphics to save power on battery, but I'm not sure why it's working. You are running an older HD graphics driver, so if you want to take a chance an update it use this one. Link to comment

Well i already disabled the intel graphics in BIOS a long time ago and its working now on ATI all the time. My battery is suffering under that but its okay. Link to comment
0 Sex*
It was all okay...until yesterday. IT LAGS AGAIN. Seems like only MTA because NFS Most Wanted 2012 still smooth. Only some drops but its annoying at MTA with overclocked ATI graphics, at default its kinda the same: ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 6/11/2013, 13:52:04 Machine name: ADMIN-PC Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130318-1533) Language: Estonian (Regional Setting: Estonian) System Manufacturer: Acer System Model: Aspire 5820TG BIOS: InsydeH2O Version V1.25 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 520 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz Memory: 6144MB RAM Available OS Memory: 6006MB RAM Page File: 2931MB used, 3073MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.01.7601.17514 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: No problems found. 0 Towncivilian
Your graphics driver version is dated November 30, 2011, so if Catalyst 13.4 is installed the driver certainly isn't current (unless that's the latest driver available for your card, I'm not sure - notebook graphics drivers are idiotic). The audio driver did not install, try installing it again. Realtek likes to uninstall the previous audio driver before installing the new one for some reason, maybe the installer didn't launch again after restarting Windows. Atheros just released a new Ethernet driver; please try install it. The MEI driver is not necessary, you can ignore it. Link to comment
0 Sex*
So you are telling me that I dont have 13.4 drivers? Or I dont have 13.4 catlyst manager? Link to comment

0 Jaysds1
You could download CCleaner and see which program "eats" up your "start time". CCleaner: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner Link to comment

0 Towncivilian
Since my last post, these drivers have been updated. Please install them: Audio driver Storage driver This guide may help you figure out why Windows is taking so long to boot/load. I believe you only have Catalyst 13.4 manager installed, unless the actual driver for your card is no longer being updated by AMD. Perhaps do an uninstall and reinstall of Catalyst to see if it changes. Link to comment
0 Sex*
Wow my drivers are updating every day... But I found that most time takes my antivirus but thats not the problem because my last PC starts up really fast with same antivirus. I also found that something PreShellInit is delaying but I cant find a way to remove it. It isnt in Processes or Services. EDIT: The new Audio driver sucks! The sound is horrible! So I installed a older one and the sound is okay now EDIT2: Measured my bootup time. Theesult was 2 minutes and 15 seconds, thats crazy! And some time more to start the programs up. Link to comment
0 Jaysds1
For the antivirus, just use Microsoft security, it's free and it updates the definition list( basically the viruses that are not allowed) everyday. Link to comment

0 Sex*
And that startup guide doesnt really help...I even was booting up faster then that Windows 7 bloatware was on so something has gone terribly wrong. Link to comment

0 Jaysds1
wait, run the MTADiag again, we could see what's running. Link to comment
0 Sex*
wait, run the MTADiag again, we could see what's running. I dont have MTADiag, because it reinstallls my MTA every time and thats fucking annoying. I use dxdiag and Game Booster log. Link to comment
0 Towncivilian
A screenshot of Task Manager after clicking the Show processes from all users, or the output from tasklist >list.txt would be more helpful. MTADiag is supposed to update MTA to the latest nightly if the existing version is not current, although the detection of the latest nightly sometimes is incorrect or is out of date. If MTADiag still "updates" every single time it is run, I apologize for the annoyance and I will try to correct the flawed detection method soon. Link to comment
0 Sex*
tasklist >list.txt Where does it output? Because i serached and there was some tasklist.exe and i clicked it and a CMD window popped up for a sec..did something and closed again. Link to comment
0 Towncivilian
Should output in %userprofile% (just enter that in an Explorer window). Link to comment
