Help with VPS, which is the best operating system?

Hello, I was wondering what the best operating system to get an online server MTA RolePlay, ie I use mysql and also would like to get one of MTA dayz but do not know which is the best operating system where you run a server with Roleplay mysql modules can someone tell me which is the best?

At the company where I buy the VPS can choose between the various versions of Linux and windows 8, please can someone tell me what is the easiest to open a server MTA and give fewer problems?

If you're not familiar with Linux, Windows would be better (but it isn't even hard to use Linux by terminal, and you can always install a graphical interface, but this will take more space on the disk and will also use more RAM). I always use Linux in servers (I prefer Debian but CentOS isn't very different).

I think I'll put a 32bit Debian is it good?

32-bit operating systems don't support more than (rounded)3GB of memory. So, unless you are expecting to use more than that, you're okay.
