MTA 1.3.1 wont even get past the splash screen [RESOLVED]

Question

hey,

ive looked through the recent forums for answers to this and i have tried most solutions that people suggest

basically the splash screen appears, then that turns white, about 10 seconds later the screen goes black, followed by what looks like the application struggling to stay open ( it flashes between the black screen and the desktop)

ive used the diagnostic tool and here are the results

http://pastebin.com/5nyKxvMU

just to point out, it was working perfectly fine the other day, no new updates or anything related to Gta being changed

thanks in advance

Ok, please try windowed mode by doing this:

1. Find the MTA install directory with Windows Explorer

2. Open MTA\coreconfig.xml in Notepad

3. Find the line 0 and change the 0 to a 1

4. Save file

5. Launch MTA

btw, are you launching MTA from inside Steam?

If it is not there, make the file MTA\coreconfig.xml with this content:

<mainconfig>
    <settings>
        <display_windowed>1</display_windowed>
    </settings>
</mainconfig>

As far as I can tell, none of the drivers updated successfully (though dxdiag doesn't give driver verisons for most of the driver list I gave you; not your fault, just dxdiag being stupid). At the very least, the audio driver should have updated successfully.

Could you provide another MTADiag log after following the instructions in this post?
