Guest Posted December 20, 2003 Posted December 20, 2003 I've got it all up and running, I just want to know where do I input the admin username in the mtaserver.conf file? I can find where to put the password but not the username.
Cray Posted December 20, 2003 Posted December 20, 2003 Username can be anything you want (it is only ever really used for logging purposes). So, just put any Username in the Server Admin, and the proper password, and you should be good to go.
Guest Posted December 21, 2003 Posted December 21, 2003 Ok thanks for clearing that up, just another question. With MTA Remote Server Admin, when I try to log onto it, I always see a connection timed out showing. Is there a way to lenghten the time out period (And is port 4003 a good port to have it on)? EDIT: I downloaded the MTA Server configuration utility, and that has sorted everything out.
