MTA: SA Handling Issues

So I'm not entirely sure if it's the client or what have you, but I've used GGMM and also hand edited my Handling lines for the Manana in the handling.cfg file, and no matter what I do when I open MTA, The handling still hasn't change.

It shows that it's changed in the handling.cfg file, but on MTA it still handles the same as the generic car.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?

I think MTA automatically sets it back to the original handling.

Just think of it as cheating if you were to change your handling from the rest of the MTA users/players.

The server is the only one to change your handling in MTA unless they offer a resource that allows you to change your vehicle handling.

That's what I thought too, but I"m testing it out in the Map Editor rather than on someone's server, because I'm working on building an entire set of cities and tracks specifically designed for Drifters.

I've got a collective of about 15-20 people working on this, so the ability to drift is kind of essential.

That's my only concern

You should use the MTA functions to change the handling.

The Map Editor is running on a server too - it's a local one.
