If i select data from a row using dbquery and dbpoll the handle with a -1 timeout, will it return false if the row doesnt exist?

I'm not exactly sure, it may return a table, but empty.

You can check if it exists with this:

local result, numrows, errmsg = dbPoll ( query, -1 ) 
if ( not result or numrows == 0 ) then 
-- Doesn't exist 
end
