Cannot connect to any servers.

Hi,

I'm a university student and live in student halls of residence, I like to play MTA:SA occassional but for some reason since I've moved to the halls it doesn't work anymore. I just get Error: Connection timed out everytime I try to connect to a server.

I am having the same problem with other online games as well; Lord of the rings online, SA-MP, IV-MP etc... I think the ports must be blocked or something... Is there any way to get around this?

When I go home with my computer I have no problems at all.

Your university is probably blocking game traffic, there is nothing you can do about this unfortunately.

Damn, well I can't say I didn't expect this, thank you for replying anyway. I'm in my final year of my computer science degree so it's probably a good thing, I have loads of work to do and games would probably distract me... See you all after I graduate!
