about hosting

well , my friends and i are thining about hosting a server.

but i want to know , after buying the host , what do i do to get the 'console' , and can 2 of us get it ?

If the company has some kind of panel that allows you to see console output and input anything to it, then you just need to contact the company to know more about how to get on it/how to use it ( if you don't know ). If the company doesn't give you that, there's nothing you can do.
