and i want to try it out (Testing)

How can i do this ??

I WOuld like it so me and my friends can join the server

Any idea on how to do this without paying?

You can open the server in your computer otherwise you'll have to pay someone to host it/pay for a machine.

ok i do that then it open ths CMD thing and says

to somewhere or something????

That means that your configuration file could not be found/is incorrect.

Check if you have a "mtaserver.conf" file, if you have show it otherwise.. that seems you're using Linux right? Download config files from here: http://linux.multitheftauto.com

I am using windows and it has the conf file should i replace it with the other conf file from the server game files and where do i put those folders for the game i want to host?

ok it works it says server running and all

But how do i add these files viewtopic.php?f=108&t=40793 to it and Play in my own server??

Add "acl.xml" and "mtaserver.conf" to: %SERVERFOLDER%/mods/deathmatch folder and put everything else in %SERVERFOLDER/mods/deathmatch/resources/ folder.

Don't forget to change the new "acl.xml" and "mtaserver.conf" that you added right now!

But how do i enter the game? and find out its address so i can get my friends to join it

and when i open mtaserver.exe it says loading resoucers all that stuff but it doesnt open the game

It depends on your modem/router or whatever you have that I don't know.

About the server not starting, you must wait some time.
